Online Therapy
Welcome - I’m Julie Thomas, a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist.
I offer online therapy to adults who are struggling with anxiety, grief, trauma, low self-esteem or the feeling that life has lost its direction.
My approach is grounded in existential therapy. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we take time to explore your experience more deeply - your relationships, choices, fears, losses, values, and sense of self. Together, we try to understand what may be happening beneath the surface.
Therapy for me is a genuine conversation. I'm here to think alongside you, to help you find your own clarity, and to offer a space where you can be completely honest without judgment.

"One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things"
-H. Miller
How I Can Help
I work with people facing a wide range of challenges. If you’re not sure whether what you’re dealing with fits neatly into a category, that’s fine – most people’s struggles don’t. Here are some of the areas I specialise in:
You may be feeling the emotional weight of a significant loss, or struggling with anxiety that makes daily life feel overwhelming. Whatever you're going through, you don't have to face it alone.
I offer a calm, confidential and compassionate space through online therapy, where you can share your thoughts and feelings freely, without judgement. Although I now work solely online, my approach is grounded in over nine years of experience offering both face-to-face and online therapy. That depth of experience helps me create a strong, supportive connection, wherever you are in the UK.

About Me
I’m Julie Thomas, a BACP accredited psychotherapist and counsellor offering online therapy to adults across the UK. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling, and have over nine years of experience supporting people through a wide range of challenges.
Before training as a therapist, I worked in roles that gave me a deep appreciation of the many different ways life can ask us to adapt, endure, and keep going — particularly during times of vulnerability, uncertainty, and change. My path into psychotherapy grew from a profound respect for the complexity of human experience and a strong sense that meaningful support can make a real difference when life feels at its hardest.
This work is not just professional for me; it is something I approach with genuine compassion, steadiness, and an understanding that people often come to therapy carrying far more than is visible on the surface. I aim to offer a calm, thoughtful space where you can speak openly, reflect on your experience, and feel supported in making sense of what you are going through.
